Bill Phillips: 15 Years After Body-for-LIFE

Bill Phillips

Bill Phillips, 15 years after Body of Work and Body-for-LIFE

49 Years of Age I will be in a matter of hours (9-23). Working out with my wife Maria today at Transformation Center, and watching NFL TV. I am as healthy as ever and I am smiling through my whole workout… kind of laughing at the whole notion that age is what makes people get out of shape and lose their energy. For me, it hasn’t been like that at all. And it doesn’t have to be like that for other people either. The key is to keep setting exciting health and fitness goals and keep doing the healthy eating and intense exercise to reach them.

I workout 5 times a week, I eat healthy more often than not, I get my vitamins and protein every day (3-4 Right Light Shakes) and I take my fitness and anti-aging supplement STRONGEVITY Rx 2-3 times each day. I keep it simple and I don’t try to be perfect… fitness is about what you do most of the time… you don’t have to be perfect all of the time. For me, fitness is the best lifestyle for improving quality and quantity of life… and at age 49, it works as well for me today as it ever has! Those of you who have continued the Body-for-LIFE style know what I’m talking about!

++For those who maybe got off track (a little or a lot) over the years, don’t give up and don’t give in to age! Watch for details this coming week about my new Back on Track Challenge (a challenge especially for former Body-for-LIFE folks who need some motivation and help to get focused on getting fit again!)

Comments

  1. I’ve been trying to finish a challenge a challenge since 2005. I’ve started about 15 of them over the years and never finished one. The farthest I got was 8 weeks. I just started the most recent one and got “off track” after 2 weeks. For me finishing one challege…….is my greatest challenge.

  2. In 2003 I completed the body for life challenge. All I have left is one photo of my after picture. I have the means financially to hire a personal trainer but haven’t done it. In 35 days I will be leaving for my winter home in phoenix and will do three weeks of bootcamp but know that’s not enough.
Bill ,you continue to be my insperation even though I may not be with you, my dream is to be fit enough to proud enough to take off my shirt.

I wish I knew how to get the support I need.

    Best to you

  5. Bill,

You look great! You’ve been such an inspiration for me since I did the first BFL challenge in 97. I have to admit though I spend more time talking the talk instead of walking the talk. My goal is to make it to your Transformation Camp in 2014 and I look forward to hearing about your Get back on track challenge! Happy Birthday!!! 😊

  6. I have followed you over the years Bill and I have to say……. You are Mr. Motivation.
I have all the respect in the world for you…… In my house the name Bill Phillips is as well known as the daily newspaper.

    You rock Bill, Jorge

  7. Charlotte Baber says:

Mr. Phillips, you possess an uncanny sense of being spot on in the journey of life. Yep! I successfully completed the BFL challenge in 2001. Yep! I got off track with a few curve balls. Yep! I am taking it a day at a time with progressive daily rituals of success. Yep!
I chose to redirect my focus on quality of life rather than camp at the doctors’ office. Yep! I also chose to forgive myself and to allow myself to have fun while undergoing this transformation too. Yep! I got my support team on Tcom too.

THANKS SO MUCH for being such an inspiration in my life over the years. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

    :)Charlotte
